Thank you for your interest in FAST!
For the fall/winter 2010-2011 short course
season, which begins in September, swimmers who did not swim for
FAST during the summer long-course season are required to try
out for the team.
During try outs, FAST coaches will evaluate
swimmers’ abilities for placement in the appropriate FAST
swim group. Due to the size of the team and available swim lane
space, group sizes are limited.
Try outs will be held Saturday,
September 11, 2010, at EPIC pool.
Schedule:
10:00-11:00 a.m. Swimmers ages 10 and
under
11:00-12:00 noon Swimmers ages 11 and
over
Additional Information:
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes
before the time listed above in order to sign in for
try-outs.
- If you have an extra copy of your swimmers
best times, please bring them.
- All swimmers should wear
goggles.
- Swimmers with long hair should wear a cap. Cap
is optional for other swimmers.
- Parents are welcome to watch from the bleacher
area.
- Try outs are required for all
standard
FAST practice
groups, including
pre-competitive.
- Try outs are not required for
the FAST
Masters or
High School Prep groups.

After tryouts, swimmers who are
qualified for a FAST group will be informed. There is an
immediate two-week trial period to try the team. After that
time, swimmers must register with the team to continue to
participate. Post try-out registration should be completed no
later than September 30, 2010.
